Why use Elite Green on your Food Plots?
Every hunter’s goal is to grow the biggest game they can with the tools they have available. All we are asking you to do is add Elite Green to your existing proven practices. When you use Elite Green, it will make average products great and great products unbelievable! Elite Green will allow you to increase the crude digestible proteins in your food plots, which in turn grows huge trophy game.
How does Elite Green work?
Elite Green works by increasing the plant’s nutrient transfer to sites of metabolic activity by increasing the effectiveness of the inputs supplied by the grower and mother nature. In other words, it increases carbohydrate production in the plant, which in turn increases the sugar content in the plant, thus producing an increase in the crude digestible proteins as well as a better tasting food plot for the animals that are currently feeding on your now superior food plots.
Elite Green will allow you to keep your trophy game close to the new better tasting food source, which will allow you a better opportunity to harvest The One you have been after.
Reduce your Fertilizer and Lime input cost.
Our field trials, along with university trials, have consistently shown that a grower could reduce N P & K application rates by 25%-30%. Where you get the biggest bang for your buck is when you add Elite Green to liquid nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus when you foliar feed your food plots. Studies have shown that when this combination is utilized, the liquid fertilizer become 100% to 500% more efficient compared to applications of similar fertilizer quantities to the soil. This helps the grower because smaller quantities of N P & K liquid fertilizer are needed to see a better plant response, thus reducing your fertilizer costs.
With Elite Green, you could potentially reduce your lime application rates to every 3-5 years. Our field trials have demonstrated that when the grower achieves the proper Ph of the soil for the crop being grown. Elite Green will maintain that level for 3-5 years without another application of Lime as long as it is used properly. Spray 1 quart/acre in the fall and 1 quart/ in the spring on the ground. This needs to be done in addition with your foliar applications of the crop you are growing for your food plots.
Super charge your soil!
For many years growers have been applying excess amounts of nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus fertilizers to the land creating more and more problems with excessive runoff into our water sheds. This not only costs the grower more money, but it has negative effects on our environment, which is costly to our fresh water supply.
When you add Elite Green to the soil it helps release those plant nutrients (the N P & K fertilizers) that are bound in the soil that would not normally be available to the plant. For example, when you put out 120 units of nitrogen add Elite Green the plant will uptake 120 units of nitrogen. No longer will you put out 200 units of nitrogen hoping 120 units of nitrogen will be used by the plant. Not only is this a tremendous cost savings to the grower, but the impact on our environment is better.
Got Weeds? We can help!
When you mix Elite Green with your herbicide applications before you plant, you not only get an incredible burn down, but you add important micronutrients and beneficial microorganisms to the soil.
How does Elite Green work to reduce herbicide inputs? When Elite Green is mixed with a herbicide(s) and sprayed onto the plant it goes to work at the cellular level opening up those cell walls and allowing the plant to uptake more herbicide than the plant normally would thus, creating a “hotter” and more effective burn down. Another advantage when you add Elite Green to herbicides is that you will no longer need to use crop oils or surfactants to keep the herbicide on the plant, you will also see a tremendous reduction in drift from your sprayer. These advantages will allow you to reduce your input costs and decrease your impact on our environment.
When you spray Elite Green directly on the soil during your initial burndown you provide critical micronutrients and microorganisms to the soil that provide free radicals to the seeds and plants. Free Radicals produce positive effects on seed germination, root initiation, and plant growth. This will help get your food plot off on the right foot even if mother nature doesn’t provide ideal conditions for you early in the growing season.
What are the major benefits that you can expect from Elite Green?
- Increase Brix levels in the crop, which has a direct effect on sugar content and taste in the plant. The greater the brix the better the crop tastes and the more protein available to the animal that grazes on the food plot.
- Improve root growth, which increases nutrient absorption.
- Increases your soil’s water holding capacity.
- Increases drought resistance.
- Protects against harmful plant pathogens.
- Helps reduce N P & K fertilizer application rates by 25%-30%
- Makes herbicide applications more effective reducing rates by 25%-30%.
- Helps protect your food plots from severe hot and cold spells.
- Eliminates or significantly reduces crop oil and surfactant use.
- Reduces herbicide drift. Your neighbor will thank you!
- Increases nutrient uptake.
What is Elite Green and How is it Supplied?
Elite Green, is a highly concentrated aqueous mixture of Organic Composted Humus. It is designed for soil drenches, band, drip, foliar and side-dress applications. Elite Green works best when mixed with herbicides and/or liquid fertilizers as starter solutions, direct field applications or for injection into irrigation systems. It will not clog sprayers!
Elite Green is available in 1-gallon jugs, 55 drums, and 275-gallon totes. Elite Green is also available at wholesale pricing.
General usage is to add Elite Green to liquid fertilizers/herbicides or by itself with a direct field application at the rate of 1 quart/acre with 7-20 gallons of water for crops and 3 quarts/acre/year (Fall, Spring, and Summer) on pastures and hay fields mixed with 7-20 gallons of water. Be sure to check out the applications page for your specific crop instructions on usage and mixing.
